"Weak?" Han Sen had a wry smile.
He opened his mouth to say something, but Lan Se's phone rang. Lan Se picked it up and said, "This is Lan Se. What is it?"
"Instructor Lan, please hurry to the steel mill in the Western District immediately. There is an unusual situation there." An anxious voice came from the communicator.
"I'm on my way. I'll be there in five minutes." Lan Se's face changed as she answered.
Lan Se looked at Han Sen, as if she was thinking of something. But in the next second, she made a decision. She turned the car around and drove in a certain direction.
Cars were rare in the Alliance, and Han Sen had never been in one before. Seeing Lan Se's driving skills, he thought it was pretty cool.
Lan Se's car sped through the streets, and because of the police lights, the other cars had to make way for her. Lan Se's driving was wild, and she managed to reach a factory in less than five minutes.
The scene was blocked off by many cat people police officers. All the cat people were wearing geno armors, and they all looked the same. There wasn't much difference between them.
"Stay here and don't move. If you try to escape, you'll be punished by the laws of Planet Kate." Lan Se got out of the car, closed the door, and walked into the factory.
"I'll follow you. I'm not familiar with this place, and I'm an outsider. I don't want to be misunderstood." Han Sen quickly got out of the car and followed Lan Se.
Lan Se nodded and said, "Okay. You stay with me and listen to my orders. Don't do anything on your own."
"Okay."
Han Sen agreed. He had smelled the stench of blood coming from the factory, and he wanted to see what was going on inside.
He followed Lan Se, and the police seemed to recognize her. No one stopped her, and she quickly entered the factory.
When she entered the factory, Han Sen frowned.
This was a factory that wasn't very big. There were many corpses lying in the yard. To be more precise, there were many mutilated corpses.
Many of the corpses had been disemboweled. Broken arms and legs were everywhere. They had all died very miserably.
Looking at the corpses, they were probably all werecats. Looking at the wounds, they seemed to have been torn apart while they were still alive. The wounds were not caused by weapons.
What shocked Han Sen the most, though, was the fact that the bodies of the cat people had geno armor pieces. They had been creatures with geno armor, but they had been killed in such a cruel manner. They had been unable to fight back.
Looks like this place isn't as safe as I thought, Han Sen thought to himself.
"What's the situation here?"
Lan Se walked up to a police officer and looked at the body. She didn't look well.
The policeman said, "These were the workers who worked the night shift. When the morning shift arrived, they were all dead. There were no signs of a struggle, either. Judging from the wounds, their bodies and geno armors were torn apart by claws."
"Did those things do this?" Lan Se's face looked gloomy.
"We can't rule out that possibility. We've already contacted our superiors, and the leader has sent a Noble here. He should be here soon," the policeman said.
Lan Se looked at the bodies, bit her lips, and said nothing.
"Se, don't be sad. If those things really did do this, there's nothing we can do. The leader will take care of this," the policeman comforted her.
Han Sen just watched. Lan Se and the others did their research, but it didn't go well.
Not long after, they saw an aircraft land outside the factory gate. A man with a cold face came down from it. When the police saw the man, they immediately made way for him, allowing him to enter the scene smoothly.
When he passed by, the police officers bowed respectfully to the man.
Han Sen looked at the man, too. He was a black-haired werecat. Han Sen heard the police call him Mister Black Xun.
Mister Black Xun gave Han Sen a different feeling than the other werecats, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
Even Lan Se and the police officer bowed to Black Xun and called him Mister. It was obvious that he was a very important person there.
But Hei Xun just walked around the factory and told Lan Se and the others that he was taking over. Then, Lan Se and the rest of the police left.
Han Sen left with Lan Se, and on the way, he asked, "Who is this Mister Black Xun?
It looks like it's very powerful. "
"Mister Black Xun is a Noble with a geno armament. He is not someone ordinary." When Lan Se spoke of Black Xun, she looked envious.
"Can you become a Noble with a geno armament?" Han Sen asked with curiosity.
"Of course. Anyone who can generate a geno armament is the chosen one. They are born to be a Noble," Lan Se said without hesitation.
"If … I mean if … If I can generate a geno armament, will I be given special treatment on Planet Kate?" Han Sen asked.
Lan Se looked at him and said, "If you can generate a geno armament, you can join Planet Kate. You'll be treated like a noble, just like Mister Black Xun. You'll be respected by the Kate."
After that, Lan Se went on to say, "But you're an adult, and you haven't generated a geno armor. That means you're weak. You can't generate a geno armament, so don't think about it too much. Go work, and when you've earned enough money, you can buy a ticket back home."
"What are the requirements for generating a geno armament?" Han Sen wasn't mad, and he asked.
"The better your blood, the more likely you will be able to generate a geno armament. Don't you know that?
I don't think you have an elite with a geno armament yet, "Lan Se said.
"No." Han Sen had a wry smile, and then he asked, "Is there any other rule?"
"Not really. Otherwise, they wouldn't be called the chosen one. Nobles are rare among the Kate. The younger they are, the more likely they are to have geno armaments. I don't think there's a rule, though. Some Nobles aren't that strong before they have geno armaments," Lan Se said.
Han Sen frowned and thought to himself, "I wonder if I can generate a geno armament?"
